TailHigh is made of premium materials, including non-toxic food grade Elastomer. The lead tape is lightweight and extraordinarily strong. It has been tested in wide range of climates (wet) and conditions (sandy) and we have not had any issues. With proper care, a TailHigh can last for years.

TailHigh's leash has a safety feature that locks momentarily when the leash is pulled rapidly. This feature does not lock the leash permanently, and unlocks automatically when the tension on the leash is released. So, as long as you hold the tension, it will stay locked. Please familiarize yourself with its operation before going out with your furry friend for the first time.

Yes. TailHigh is tested at a certified lab for the strength. TailHigh size Large can withstand 888 N (90 Kgf) and X-Large is rated at 1,148 N (117 Kgf). Our harness has four buckles for proper size adjustment.

Large dogs can use Tailhigh safely. The leash is nylon-woven and has passed the weigh and restraint evaluations by an authorized testing lab and rated at 1,148 N (117 Kgf). It is even strong enough to pull a 1-ton truck.

The small size harness weighs only 4.6 oz, which is the weight of two eggs. It should be comfortable for any small-breed dog over 8 lbs.

We intentionally made it 5 ft to provide optimal control while avoiding any unexpected incidents, such as wrap-arounds due to an overexcited pup.

We used corrosion-resistant materials for all parts of TailHigh. Dogs can go in the water and swim with the harness on. Although the cloth and nylon leash may get wet, it can easily be air-dried.

There is a slight noise when the leash winds and releases, but you can barely hear it when you walk outside. When the safety stop function is activated, the stopper inside of the harness makes a ‘click’ sound. Your dog may be a little startled at the sound on the first use, but will get used to it quickly. The audible click is used by some as a training device to teach their dog not to pull on the leash.

Yes, materials used for TailHigh is corrosion resistant. Wash with fresh water, drain and air dry. If sand particles get inside of the leash, they may hinder the auto-stop feature. Don't let too much sand get in the leash.
